Hip-Prov is an improv game show where comics and improvisers compete in short-form improv games and hip-hop challenges. It began as a virtual livestream show during the pandemic lockdown and can now be seen in-person monthly at One Night Stan’s Comedy Club and Planet Ant Theatre. Audience members may also join in the fun by providing suggestions and winning free raffle prizes. Hip-Prov is created, produced and hosted by Detroit-area comedian and improviser Tam White.
